Educational or Trial Version
Users can use Rhino and Revit educational versions or trial versions to run Rhino.Inside.Revit, with a few considerations:
1. Rhino Educational Version
- The Rhino educational version is a fully functional version with no limitations, so you can use all the features of Rhino, including Rhino.Inside.Revit. Once purchased, the educational version can be used even for commercial projects after graduation, making it a good long-term option.
- Rhino Trial Version: The Rhino trial version offers a 90-day free trial, and during this time, you have full access to Rhino’s functionality, including the ability to use Rhino.Inside.Revit. After the trial ends, Rhino enters a mode where saving and plugin use is disabled, meaning you won’t be able to use Rhino.Inside.Revit unless you purchase a license.
2. Revit Educational Version
- The Revit educational version is also fully functional. Autodesk provides free licenses to students and educators, giving you access to all features, including the ability to use Rhino.Inside.Revit without restrictions.

⚠️
The educational version of Revit adds a watermark to printed or PDF output to prevent commercial use of the software

- Revit Trial Version: The Revit trial version is valid for 30 days and includes all the features of the full version. During this trial period, you can use Rhino.Inside.Revit just like you would in the fully licensed version. After the trial period ends, you’ll need to purchase a license to continue using Revit.
